Nilkantheshwar
Overview : Nilkantheshwar temple is near by Pune. It is before three dams Khadakwasla, Panshet & Varasgaon.
From the top of the Nilkanteshwar temple you can see the of all these three dams. The view is fantastic.
Direction : There are many routes to reach Nilkanteshwar temple. One route is from Pune you have to come to Khadakwasla choupati - Jambhali village - then road leads on left side to Nilkantheswar Temple.
Note/Advice - Have to walk up-to the hill top of the Nilkanteshwar. which takes 20 mins. Its good exercise to you and your family
Food : Three is small restaurant on the top you can enjoy Bhel, Vada ,Bhaji and Tea
You will find the many statues from Mahabharata ,Ramayana and many characters from old Saga.
All the statues are well carved and painted. Children will enjoy to see Bhim and Ravana.
