You must have seen the News  in paper that Passport office is conducting Re Police verification for those case  were applicant had not completed the Police Verification process once he got the Fresh or Renewed passport. ( or in some cases passport office has  received negative Police Report for few applicants   )  Passport office has send the letter to applicants asking to Visit passport office.  
Those who has received such letter from passport office Should visit Passport office.
Its Duty of every citizen to follow the instruction of the Govt office.
